Explosions in the Sky - “Let Me Back In” (Audiovisual Projection Music Video)

Stunning and pretty. The drop melted my face.

TJR - “Ode to Oi” (Animated Music Video HD)

themuleblog:

Cute little monkeys, trippy visuals, hints of humor, a banging track, and of course shake weights. The deadly combo kind of makes you feel like you’re on drugs, or like you’re on some other planet. Plus it’s created by yours truly! Enjoy.

“Gangnam Style” - PSY

While working for an audiovisual graphics company called Possible, we were exposed to the world of K-Pop after the company’s back and forth trips to Korea to work on groups such as Big Bang and 2NE1’s tour graphics. On the return from the most recent trip, we learned about the up and coming track called “Gangnam Style” by PSY. Within just a few weeks, it’s safe to say the video has gone viral due to its 49million+ views and acceptance by American culture. Whether it be to dance to, something to laugh at, or something to enjoy watching with friends, we highly recommend checking the video out below as well as the “Making of” video link posted below with an article examining the deep seeded meanings and reality behind the music video and song. Also be sure to stay up to date with our coming fall collection “dream” and check out all our instock clothing on sale at Warped State Clothing’s Online Shop.

This is one of the most unreal things we’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see it live. Story below. Enjoy.

In March 2012, Global Creatures teamed with Dreamworks to launch a live theatrical show based on the film “How To Train Your Dragon.” Spinifex Group was contracted to develop the graphic content for the entire show. The brief was to take the movie from its original look and portray it in a more illustrative style.

The challenges focused around timing the animation to match the choreography of the actors and dragons, while also maintaining a sense of scale and balance between the animatronic creatures and the projected content. In addition, the animation needed to move as one seamless scene across both the wall and floor, serving as a complete theatre set—a first of its kind.

Instead of 5 tunes this week, how bout you check out this sick playlist on Spotify! Tons of tunes to jam out to and get funky with.

Getting Down and Dirty with Brazilian duo, Dirtyloud (A Warped State Clothing Exclusive Interview)

After things have settled down since our big Spring Collection release concert with RAC and PatrickReza, we had the opportunity to get in touch with Brazilian duo Dirtyloud, who will be shortly coming to the US for their first North American tour. It may be their first US tour, but we can expect big things from the electro-house group who has gained a following of over 170k facebook fans since their beginnings just a few years back and have gained exceptional recognition throughout the world. Here’s what member Marcus Campos had to say during our interview:

-To start off, at what ages did the two of yourself and Eduardo start to produce/remix music?

Marcus:  I Started Playing as a Dj in 2005 and in 2007 I took a Music Production course and met Du (the other half of Dirtyloud) at this time.

Eduardo used to produce Psytrance the year before we started the project in 2008, then we focused on Dirtyloud and after one year we had our debut presentation in March 2009.

-Who inspired your work and which present day producers continue to inspire your work?

Marcus: The electronic music scene is always changing, so we always try to make our own style, like a signature. We took those influences with some ideas, some influences from Brazilian Music, and then the songs became more our signature. When we started Dirtyloud, we were influenced by artists that produced electro house at that time like, Vandalism, David Amo & Julio Navas, Jon Gurd, Dirty South, Spencer & Hill, Dabruck & Klein, Deadmau5 and fellow Brazilians, Felguk.

Nowadays I don’t know if we have producers inspiring our work but there are some that we really respect and admire like, Skrillex, Nero, Pendulum, Noisia, Dada Life and Tommy Trash.

-Where did the name Dirtyloud originate?

Marcus:  We didn’t have a name for the project and we needed to decide it because we had our first party deal to play and they needed a name for the project, so we choose Dirtyloud: it says it all.

-Who have been your biggest supporters thus far?

Marcus:  After all these years we have had lots of supports, so it’s difficult to say some, but we can count on David Guetta, Christopher Lawrence, Felguk, Lazy Rich, Neelix, our manager Tim Healey, and many more.

-Is this your first time on tour in the US? What are your expectations/ hopes?

Marcus:  Yes, first time touring the USA. Our expectations are killer parties, massive responses, lots of good energy, good professionals, all you can imagine that’s good. We can’t wait to serve up our killer combination of electro and dubstep in the US - it has been a long time preparing for this tour, and we are 200% ready.

-What are your favorite aspects of performing live? What do you do to get the crowd going?

Marcus:  We read the crowd, see their vibe and give them our best. We always play hard but we always give some respite in parts of our presentation, so the crowd has a chance to breathe.

-Can we expect any new releases/tracks in the coming months? Any big plans besides the US tour?

Marcus:  We just released a dubstep remix for Sharam - Our Love at the end of March, now in April we have a remix for Deadmau5, Hey Baby, on Play Records, and a new original: Dae Gaetta (Surfer Rosa) which will be out on April 23. In May we are releasing a new EP with 6 to 8 tracks, including remixes and originals, plus a follow up EP featuring remixes from other artists.

We look forward to seeing Dirtyloud when they pass through Santa Barbara on May 24th at the Velvet Jones (Keep an eye out for them repping some Warped State apparel during the tour). For now check them out on their Facebook, listen to their tracks, and get to know one of the next big names in the electronic music movement.

Here are some exclusive tracks, previews, and videos from Dirtyloud:
